Larimer Square Parking Structure

Architect Semple Brown Design
Engineer Walker Parking Consultants
Contractor Hensel Phelps Construction Company
Square Footage 98,800

This project included the redevelopment of a vacant parking lot into a six-story, 310-space parking garage. The historically sensitive structure provides much needed parking for the LoDo area and added 6,000 square feet of in-line retail space along Market Street. The challenging project required three different colors of brick and architectural concrete and DURA and Historical district approval on an extremely tight site with zero lot line construction requiring an innovative helical ramping system.

The project received 1996 ACI Award of Excellence for private/ commercial building.
